This natural hand cream is very nourishing for the skin, and it also protects and repairs the skin after damage caused by cleaning products, and even extreme cold or hot weather. But before we get to the natural hand cream recipe, here is a simple hand scrub you can make and use before applying the hand cream.
Natural Hand Scrub
Removing the dead skin layer is a mandatory step for hand care even before applying a hand cream or a hand mask. Here is a super quick and natural hand scrub. You will need 3 tbsp of sugar and one tablespoon of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Mix the sugar with the grapefruit juice, then rub it in circular movements on your washed hands, until the sugar “melts” completely. Rinse with warm water, then with cold water, and apply a nourishing hand cream afterward, or a natural hand mask.

Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of beeswax (grated or pellets)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of calendula oil
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa butter or shea butter
- 5-6 drops of lavender essential oil
- 2-3 drops of vitamin E oil
Melt the beeswax and the butter in a steam bath, then remove from the heat. The shelf life of this natural hand cream is two months (in the fridge), as it doesn’t contain any preservatives.
How to Use
Apply it several times a day on your hands for best results. It both protects and repairs the delicate skin of your hands from the damage caused by detergents, soap, extreme heat, cold, etc.
