Ingredients

How to Make

Place the chamomile flowers in a ceramic or glass bowl, and pour one cup of boiled distilled water over it. Cover the pot and leave the chamomile to infuse for 3 hours. Strain the infusion by squeezing the chamomile flowers well. Bring the remaining two cups of distilled water to a boil, add the grated glycerin soap, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat, allow to cool, and mix it with the chamomile infusion.

The last step is to add the chamomile tincture to the mix. You can find chamomile tincture in natural food stores or online, or you can make it at home as follows. Fill up a glass jar with chamomile flowers, pour homemade alcohol or vodka over to cover the flowers, and seal the jar. Leave the jar in the sun for a week, then strain the chamomile tincture, and pour it into small amber bottles. After adding the chamomile tincture to the mix, pour the natural herbal shampoo into a glass bottle and give it a good shake. Now the herbal shampoo for blond hair is ready to use.

How to Use

Apart from the fact that this herbal shampoo for blond hair accentuates natural blonde hair, this natural chamomile shampoo deeply cleans and disinfects the hair and scalp. After using it as a regular shampoo, rinse your hair with a mix of water and lemon (1:1 ratio), or water in which you add a tablespoon of chamomile vinegar. You can make the chamomile vinegar at home the same way as the chamomile tincture, but use apple cider vinegar or distilled vinegar instead of alcohol, and keep it in the fridge.
